NSW Prepares for Impending Floods

Southern New South Wales and the ACT are preparing for floods as several more days of heavy rain have been predicted for the region.

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning for flash flooding in the region, with some areas set to receive more than 150 millimetres of rain.

The State Emergency Service says an evacuation warning remains in place for Cooma, in the Snowy Mountains.

However, the SES has refrained from vacating further areas until they have more conclusive data.
